I don't have words rich enough to express my runaway train type of dreams. Often I have been misunderstood as a geek and eccentric, rather than as an entrepreneur and developer, like I would prefer!!

So often in the past, I have done things I obviously would not do now, because today, I am 62 going on 26, then I was merely an amateur. But I have always been the Deadly-VBA Programmer then and now, just as I have never stepped back from assuming the mantle of the @Spreadsheet.Formatter!! I am only looking forwards now!!
EXCEL-VBA-AHMFCA IS HERE TO STAY

Once a wordsmith is always one, they say! Today, the accounting world is filled chock-a-block with dozens of self-acclaimed Excel Experts/Wizards/Gurus/Masters. In my experience spanning three decades, I have not found even one Excel enthusiast who could admit to being knowledgeable about more than 125-150 of Excel's vast array of formulas. I am proud to belong to the topmost niche of Excel enthusiasts who has used more than 200 of those formula!! Let's not forget, I was a macro-programmer in Lotus 1-2-3, when most of the above referenced persons were mere infants!! Just sample this: I was the first CA to use an IF-ELSE-ENDIF construct to create a formula for an income-tax calculation in a single cel!!
Insofar as Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is concerned, all those who have begun programming the VB Editor in Microsoft Office '95 may please raise their hands!!I have single-handedly created a number of self-consuption Applications like - Saral2D, Payroll, Etds Generation, Sales Analysis, Cash Book, Tax Computation worksheets/workbooks in the last 3 decades!!
Last, but not the least, Ahmedabad boasts of the third largest (hopefully, I am not mistaken) community of Chartered Accountants, of which I am a qualified FCA since 1995.
